“The empowerment of women is the empowerment of society.” This powerful message echoed through the halls of our school as the students of Classes III Daisy and III Tulip came together to present an inspiring special assembly – “Rise and Roar: Empowering Women, Inspiring Futures” on 12th December 2024.
The event was a heartfelt tribute to the strength, resilience, and achievements of women in all walks of life. Through a series of captivating performances, role-plays, and thought-provoking acts, our young performers beautifully highlighted the importance of gender equality, breaking barriers, and celebrating the power of women.

💡 Transformative Mime Performance – A touching portrayal of a shy girl overcoming challenges and rising to become an IPS officer, inspiring young minds to dream big.
🏆 Role-Play on Arunima Sinha’s Journey – The incredible story of the first female amputee to climb Mount Everest was brought to life, leaving the audience in awe of her courage and determination.
🎭 Skits & Dance Performances – Engaging acts and expressive dance routines symbolized women’s empowerment, equality, and breaking societal norms.
🎙️ Empowering Podcast Interviews – Students featured inspiring stories of real-life women changemakers who have championed women’s rights and paved the way for a more inclusive future.
💪 Messages of Strength & Equality – Through poetry and speeches, students emphasized the importance of education, opportunities, and support for women to excel in every field.
🌸 A Celebration of Strength & Equality
The performances not only entertained but also instilled a sense of responsibility and awareness among students about the need for gender equality and women’s empowerment. The young voices reminded us that when women rise, the world rises with them!
The assembly concluded with a resounding pledge for inclusivity, respect, and equal opportunities for all, as our students truly embodied the spirit of “Rise and Roar!”
