Scholarships for a Brighter Future

SDMS offers two prestigious scholarships: Lakshya Scholarship, designed to support academically gifted Board Students (Classes X & XII), and Uday Scholarship, aimed at assisting students with exceptional potential in extracurricular activities. These scholarships provide financial aid and recognition, helping deserving students achieve their educational goals.

UDAY (Meaning: Rise):- Lt. Sh. Ravi Taneja Memorial Scholarship Programme:

Lt. Sh. Ravi Taneja, founder of SDMS, firmly believed in serving the society by providing quality education to the students coming from varied socio-economic and cultural background.

He was a philanthropist and a true Karm Yogi- a great visionary, focused and generous. The school is a living model of his legacy, rich in Dedication, Determination, Discipline and Devotion.

In order to carry forward his vision and legacy, School Management had commenced a Scholarship Program ‘UDAY’ for the students with extraordinary talent from the Academic Session 2022-23.

Eligibility Criteria to avail scholarship:-

Scholarship will be valid for the students studying in SDMS only.
Scholarship will be provided bi-annually (Two times a year- Phase I: January to June, Phase II: July to December).
Student should have secured/won a medal/rank in extra- curricular activities in last six months.
Student must have won a medal or must hold a winners rank at a District, State or National level within a given time period (Phase I: January to June or Phase II: July to December).
All extra- curricular Activities like Dance Recitals, Music and Instruments, Martial Arts, Yoga, Sports & Athletics, Photography, Sculpting, Art Exhibition etc. will be included in the scholarship program.
Academic Achievements outside school like (International Rank in Olympiad (Within Top 10), NTSE, National Competitive Exams etc.) will also be covered in this scholarship program.

Valid for classes: Nursery to XII.

Students’ Scholarship Program ‘LAKSHYA 2022’ for Board Students (Classes X & XII)

In order to motivate the students of board classes X and XII, New Scholarship Program ‘LAKSHYA’22’ has been introduced from Academic Session 2022-23.

Important Notes:

Scholarship is applicable for Board appearing students of Classes X and XII
In case a student gets eligible for multiple criteria given above, he/she will be entitled to receive scholarship under only one criterion with highest amount.

Scholarship for an eligible student of Class X will be applicable only if he/she continues his/her studies in SDMS in senior classes (XI and XII).
